Historically, methods to convert people to catholicism were sometimes rude. It has become a soft religion therefore it is easier to laugh at the Catholic Church than other religions like Islam or Judaism for example. However in order to avoid the loss of credibility and excesses, different associations have been created like “croyance & liberté” in France which was founded by the conference of French bishops.
